The reality of AIDS in our world is the most compelling issue of our time. It has been said that in a hundred years, people will look back on this time in history and the only question they will ask about our lives is, “what did you do about AIDS?” AIDS is a disease that is ravaging the world, especially in Africa, though India, Russia, and other places in the world are not too many years behind. It is now referred to as a “pandemic,” a plague, a deadly disease that surpasses the term epidemic.

NCM is well aware of AIDS in our world. The resource we offer here was prepared in conjunction with the NCM Global AIDS conference held in Johannesburg, South Africa in November of 2003. This resource is the official AIDS document of the Church of the Nazarene. Here you can learn about the disease itself, as well as find statistics and other helpful websites and printed resources dealing with AIDS. It is vitally important to our Christian walk that we be informed about our world. Towards that end, NCM offers you this educational piece.
