Volunteer
NDR is made up of people willing to be trained in disaster response, and ready to volunteer when disaster strikes. Each disaster response is organized locally and supported globally. If you are living in the United States, you may have the opportunity to volunteer to help in a disaster to which NDR is responding in your region of the U.S. Due to the nature of disasters, NDR often needs volunteers on short notice. Become a Leader
After church leadership decides to respond to a disaster, the national, regional, and district directors work with local leaders to organize a local NDR committee. The committee coordinates the project using resources and volunteers. In major disasters, the project is directed by an onsite NDR representative appointed by the national field director who is responsible for the management of disaster activities, volunteers, and resources.
