As more and more products are imported and exported globally, there is an increasing need to protect the laborers behind the products we purchase. As Christians, we have the responsibility to ensure that we are not perpetuating harmful practices, and we should actively work to remedy injustice. We must use all the resources available to us to promote positive, Christian values throughout our world.
Often when we are getting low prices for goods, those who have grown, crafted, and labored to provide these goods bear the cost. Without some form of international regulation, individual producers are often taken advantage of by large consumer corporations.
