One child dies every 7 seconds from hunger-related causes. One child loses a parent to AIDS every 14 seconds. 1.1 billion people live without safe water. An estimated 2 billion people have yet to hear the good news of Christ. Yet, there is hope. The percentage of people living in poverty has fallen faster in the past 50 years than in the previous 500 years. Malnutrition rates have declined almost a third. Child death rates have decreased by more than 50% in developing countries. Through NCM, the Church of the Nazarene is on the frontlines of bringing the hope and healing of Christ to a world in need.
