Welcome to the Social Justice Page

Almost all of us have been to a missionary service at church and we see pictures and hear the stories. We hear that part of the world is poor and suffers.

There were a few of us who saw the Hotel Rwanda and we thought, "Oh, those poor people. They must have really suffered."

We know people in our churches (if not we ourselves) that have gone on Work & Witness projects. People come back with stories of shock. There were orphans! There were people who only ate rice!

What does this knowledge of poverty and suffering mean to me and my local church? Even though I know there are people who are poor and suffer, what can I really do?
