LEAP
Unfortunately, most sponsored children cannot afford to continue their education beyond the Child Sponsorship Program. The Leadership Education and Advancement Program (LEAP) gives Sponsorship graduates the opportunity to advance their education. LEAP is a scholarship program created specifically for the purpose of developing church and community leaders.
Participants in LEAP are chosen based on their proven leadership ability. Since the goal of LEAP is to nurture leaders, requirements of the student include:
- attending a university in their own country
- service at their local church and in their community
- academic excellence
- regular reports on grades and extra curricular activities
Advanced education and community service will create equipped and effective leaders that use their gifts to transform society for the Kingdom of God.
