Emergency Response Team Training
This is a one day program that will train a church or district team to immediately respond to a local disaster. This team will deploy in the first 24-48 hours immediately following a disaster. When a community has been devastated by a disaster volunteers are needed on the ground as soon as possible.
CARE (Caring As a Response to Emergencies) Team Training
This is a one day program that will train clergy, chaplains and lay people on how to respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of people during times of disaster. This training will help them minister to disaster victims, disaster volunteers and the local church affected by the disaster.
Local Church Disaster Response Team Training
This is a one day program that will train a church or district team to respond to a disaster in the weeks and months following a disaster. This response is done while the affected community is in the recovery phase. This course will train teams on how to prepare for disaster deployment.
Traumatology Certification Training
This is a two day extensive workshop that is intended for mental health
professionals, pastors and chaplains. This course will train professionals on how to meet the emotion and psychological needs of disaster victims.
NDR is always in need of able and willing volunteers to help in disaster times. Due to the nature of disasters, we often need volunteers on short notice. If interested in signing up to be a volunteer please call 866-485-4483.
