Where to Call

Nazarene Disaster Response has been hard at work continuing to respond to those in need in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Thousands of Crisis Care Kits have been sent to Gulf Region in such quantity that the local warehouse space is near capacity. Churches throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida have opened their doors to feed, house and counsel those displaced by the storm. Hospitals in Washington Parrish, Louisiana and Gulfport, Mississippi have been using your Crisis Care Kits to help care for both the patients and over 400 medical personnel who lost homes. Communities are being transformed by the love and compassion of Jesus Christ shown to them through local Nazarenes.

Offers of time, finances and resources have been pouring in from all over the International Church of the Nazarene. This response effort will not be over in a month or three months or even a year and every Nazarene will be called upon to help those in need.
