Deadly Tornado's Hit Alabama

TORNADO'S RIP THROUGH ENTERPRISE, AL: NDR ASKING FOR VOLUNTEERS.

Kansas City, Missouri, March 8, 2007- Tornado's slammed into Enterprise, AL, Thursday March 1, 2007 killing at least 18 people. The tornado's were part of severe weather system that affected a large part of the country. More than 50 people were hospitalized due to injuries inflicted by the storm. A roof collapsed at Enterprise High School pinning students and teachers under the debris, killing five. Rescue workers used portable lights into the night removing debris and searching for victims.

Nazarene Disaster Response is on site and looking for volunteers. People are needed to help remove debris and repair damage. Dothan First Church of the Nazarene in Enterprise will be housing volunteers. Steve Creech, National NDR Director, has appointed Rev Mark Berry to lead the rapid response teams for Enterprise.
