Let Them Know

Thirty seven elderly people with no home, no family, and barely enough
food to survive, live in a dimly lit, all but forgotten building behind
a hospital in Bucharest. They have no heat in the winter. But Rosie,
Dan, and Donia are now bringing them food and hope through Jesus Christ.
Lovetta spent two years in an Ohio prison. She found acceptance,
love, and hope from Pastor Jan and Rachel’s House in Columbus.
A
tornado ripped through Liberty, Missouri. MidAmerica Nazarene University
students served in the clean up efforts, offering a literal hand of
Christ to this community.
Nevu is a young girl who lives on the streets of Antananarivo in
Madagascar. She lives surrounded by crime, poverty, hopelessness,
and despair. She has found hope in this darkness at the Friends for
Christ compassionate ministries center. At the center she receives
an education, medical treatment, Biblical training, nutritional meals,
and the love of Christ.
In Mejoramiento Social, Dominican Republic many of the children cannot
afford to pay school fees or even purchase their uniform. Through
a compassionate community outreach, the Colegio Evangelico del Nazareno
is able to offer uniforms, tuition assistance, and a future in the
name of Jesus.
Cindy is one of more than a million people infected with HIV in Thailand.
Raising her two children by herself, she was frightened, ashamed,
and alone. She found courage, dignity, hope, and Jesus Christ through
The New Life for Thai compassionate ministry. Through this ministry,
she was also taught a trade skill to provide support for her family.
These
are great messages of hope that are possible through God’s grace
