CHANGE A CHILD'S LIFE
SPONSOR A CHILD
NCM currently reaches nearly 11,000 children through our one-on-one child sponsorship program and over 50,000 children through our nutrition programs across the globe. These ministries span across six continents to reach children in 80 countries.
Four Nazarene schools in the Middle East provide a Christian-based education for 900 students in grades K-10. Each school is locally accredited and serves families in low-income neighborhoods who struggle to pay tuition and fees for their children.
The Nazarene schools offer quality instruction, Bible classes and Christian education. Students are also encouraged to take part in the youth ministries provided at the local Nazarene church.
Through child sponsorship, you can change the world, one child at a time. We encourage you to consider sponsoring a child. If you are unable to commit to an ongoing sponsorship, though, consider a one-time gift to support church-led child development ministries.
"My name is Sukhi. I have four brothers. We're very poor, so my father said: Girls don't need education! This made me very sad. I didn't smile anymore. Then my mother heard about the CDC and admitted me there. I was so happy! The CDC is very different from other schools. After our normal lessons we learn songs, dances and drama. Every day we get a good lunch. If we get sick, the school gives us medical care. And my mother attends evening classes there. I love my school a lot and I'm so glad I can go there. Now I've always got a smile on my face!" (Sukhi, from Bangladesh)
NCM’s child-focused programs are based on a Holistic Child Development model that seeks to simultaneously address key aspects of a child’s life—spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, and relational. Through this model, children gain skills and opportunities to interrupt the cycle of poverty, dream about their futures, experience God’s love in tangible ways, and grow into the people God created them to be.
Our Holistic Child Development programs take place in partnership with local churches that seek to help children understand that God loves them, they are created in God’s image, they are valued and have God-given dignity, and they can have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Our Holistic Child Development model also recognizes the importance of family and community in a child’s life, knowing that the best child development happens when children grow up in the context of a loving, healthy, empowered family. We are committed to working alongside families and communities to help children develop their God-given potential.
