Middle East Schools Computer and Desks Project
Four Nazarene schools provide a Christian-based education for 700 students in grades K-10 in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
The schools have a tremendous influence on children and youth, sharing the basics of the Christian faith daily with students from diverse backgrounds. Muslim parents choose to send their children to our schools because they see a qualitative difference in the lives of their children when they return home.
Our schools are in desperate need of upgrading our computer labs to compete with the public schools and continue providing a high-quality education to children and youth. Our goal is to replace 300 desks in our schools in Jordan during the 2009/10 school year.
$500 per computer .... 30 computers needed
$45 per desk... 300 desks needed
