Lisbon Street Children Ministry
The Lisbon Street Kid's ministry exists to provide a safe environment for street children of Cova da Moura community to be fed, clothed and nurtured into a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Cova da Moura community is predominately a community of Cape Verde immigrants to Portugal.
This ministry is open to children 6 days a week. They receive a meal or a snack daily. Bible lessons are provided to introduce children to Christ. They are taught how to sew, cook, and use computers. All in a safe environment off the streets.
The director provides all the supplies out of her own pocket. The local church provides food and workers. Funds are needed for craft supplies and food.
